Hi, I’m Ewelina, illustrator in love with story telling and picture books.

I enjoy creating playful, humorous, and character-driven images, as well as exploring imaginative and dreamlike worlds in illustration. In my daily practice, I enjoy sketching characters and placing them in a variety of scenes and situations to develop unusual ideas for my own stories.

Drawing from life—especially through urban sketching—is a big part of my process and strongly influences my studio work. I find most of my inspiration in observing people and their everyday lives, as well as in travel and nature.

Working with mixed media allows me to approach each project individually and create truly unique illustrations. I love experimenting with patterns, textures, and color. Alongside children’s book illustration, I collaborate on a range of editorial and creative projects.
